Well, these shiny ones are the best, aren't they? Glad you
made it to the second of the Upper Galleries! |
So here's a few of my shiny shorts, ranging from Adidas down
to shorts that should never see the light of day. |
These are those old ex-military shorts with three stripes
but no logo - you can get them in Expectations or Regulation, among other
places. |
Or, of course, the covered market on Corn Street in Bristol,
where I got these. |
These are my favourites from this part of the collection.
They're made out of the softest, shiniest material you can imagine. |
They claim to be 34" - but they're curiously tight for
34s. I have my doubts. They're rarely far from my crotch. |
And neither are these. Recherché Liverpool shorts. Not
quite shure what year though. |
But they do fit very snugly, as shorts should. |
Of course, most shorts fit quite snugly on me. Must give up
those pizzas ... |
White/white stripes, with what's quaintly termed an 'inner
brief'. |
They have a longish inseam, and are quite tight about the
upper leg. Lovely! |
These are ancient Star shorts - although part of the logo
has relocated! I wonder if anyone can trade me half of the 'A' and all of
the 'R'? |
Star shorts again - but a bit more modern! I have these in
silver, red and black, as well as this vivid blue. |
Tight around the leg (which is very important to me) but
with that wonderful slit up the side. Leaves room to move (and get your
hand in). |
Not a bad arse for its age, eh? |
The fabulously brief Umbro ones. |
Dum-de-dum. |
It's all my own, you kno. |
More Umbro ones, with a foxy white stripe down the side. |
Hmmm ... |
Well, there's a story behind these! When I had my cherry
popped, I refused to take them off. He said, 'Are you going to take these
off, or am I going to rip them?' |
I said, 'Rip them.' And he did. |
